Main Responsibilities / What You’ll Do
- Support two Divisional General Managers (West and Central) and the field team (Regional Business Directors, Account Business Managers, Key Account Managers, Thought Leader Liaisons).
- Travel ~40% to support field activities, divisional meetings, and training programs.
- Operationalize divisional strategy/communications: create meeting agendas, execute follow-up, assign accountable action items.
- Manage divisional resources/budget: coordinate promotional programming and congress activities.
- Drive operational excellence: train field teams on tools/systems (e.g., Veeva, analytics platforms); pilot initiatives before rollout.
- Support strategic account planning and cross-functional collaboration (e.g., SFAST, marketing partnerships, special projects).
- Track/analyze performance metrics; conduct sales and gap analyses; provide ongoing national/divisional/regional/territory insights.
- Evaluate analytics tools and share analytics best practices.
- Collaborate on POAs (plans/objectives): develop POAs aligned to goals; support POA meeting planning/execution.
- Participate in field working groups and support new hire/ABM training.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required; life sciences or business preferred (MBA a plus).
- 4+ years industry experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices (sales, commercial operations, marketing, training, or project management).
- Ability to learn/apply technical and scientific product information.
- Valid driver’s license; travel as needed (~40%).
- Reside in West/Central region or Boston/Cambridge, MA.
