Responsibilities:
- Work with Medical Affairs to identify, establish, and manage relationships with community scientific leaders and healthcare providers.
- Conduct peer-level scientific discussions; maintain a reliable Medical Affairs contact for stakeholders.
- Engage in proactive non-product discussions to understand real-world prevention gaps, disparities, and barriers to uptake.
- Facilitate scientific exchange and translate insights to inform R&D research, development, and strategy.
- Provide Medical Affairs HQ with stakeholder feedback on new data, clinical trends, and the HIV prevention/treatment landscape.
- Represent R&D at scientific meetings/congresses; contribute to debriefs and post-congress reports.
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with global Virology strategy.
- Support data generation activities upon request (including Investigator Study Program/MISP).
- Identify potential investigators and provide scientific support for R&D-sponsored trials.
- Maintain in-depth disease/therapeutic area knowledge through educational efforts.
- Comply with company policies, applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:
- Required: PhD/doctorate or advanced practice professional degree (e.g., PharmD, NP/PA) relevant to Virology.
- 3+ years biotech/pharma or healthcare experience; 3+ years clinical/research experience in Virology/HIV or related area.
- Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills; ability to travel up to 50% and reside in the coverage region.
- Strong data interpretation and analysis capabilities; knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regs, and HIPAA/OIG/ethical regulations.
- Ability to organize/prioritize in a changing environment.
- Preferred: Experience with unmet needs/implementation barriers; established relationships in HIV prevention within the coverage region; leadership skills; Microsoft Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
