Medical Science Liaison (MSL) β Pacific Northwest (PNW)
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a field-based, non-promotional medical/scientific expert for HIV treatment and prevention; engage HCPs and medical experts.
- Build and apply scientific expertise; provide advanced knowledge to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Identify and maintain relationships with external experts/researchers/HCPs; support scientific discussions, collaborations, and medical strategy activities.
- Gather field clinical insights to inform product development, clinical trial design, and market strategies.
- Develop and deliver scientific presentations/training; support creation of educational materials.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines/company policies; maintain accurate documentation.
- Mentor/coach other MSLs; lead scientific/strategic projects.
- Communicate important safety information as directed.
- Support clinical development activities (incl. GSK and Investigator Sponsored Studies).
- Attend national/regional scientific/medical meetings.
- Complete required administration/training (e.g., Veeva CRM, expense reports) and keep CRM customer profiles up to date.
Basic Qualifications (required):
- Advanced degree (MD/DO/PharmD/PhD/APP)
- 3+ years clinical experience in HIV or Infectious Disease
- Stakeholder management experience
- Valid Driverβs License
- Ability to travel 40β60%
Preferred Qualifications:
- HIV field medical experience in the US; high performance in Field-Based Medical Affairs
- Strong evidence-based medicine evaluation and scientific communication/presentation skills
- Leadership and project participation; excellence mentoring MSLs
- Experience engaging effectively one-on-one and in group settings
Compensation/Benefits:
- US base salary range: $168,750β$281,250; annual bonus; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive.
