Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Pacific Northwest (PNW) (OR, WA, ID & AK)
Responsibilities:
- Build scientific acumen and serve as primary point of contact for medical/scientific inquiries in HIV treatment and prevention.
- Identify and maintain relationships with external experts, researchers, and HCPs; facilitate scientific discussions and collaborations.
- Gather and relay field insights to inform product development, clinical trial design, and market strategies.
- Develop and deliver scientific presentations/training; support educational materials and training for colleagues.
- Ensure activities comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies; maintain accurate interaction records.
- Mentor/coach less experienced MSLs; lead scientific/strategic projects.
- Disseminate safety information to HCPs as directed.
- Interface with internal/external stakeholders (investigators, societies, advocacy groups, formulary decision-makers).
- Support clinical development (including GSK and Investigator Sponsored Studies); assist site performance.
- Attend national/regional scientific/medical meetings.
- Perform compliant matrix collaboration and timely administrative tasks (e.g., Veeva CRM, expense reports).
Basic Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MD/DO/PharmD/PhD/APP)
- 3+ years clinical experience in HIV or Infectious Disease
- Stakeholder management experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to travel 40–60%
Preferred Qualifications:
- HIV field medical experience in the US
- High performance in Field-Based Medical Affairs
- Evidence-based communication with strong presentation skills
- Leadership/mentoring experience
- Experience in one-on-one and group settings

Benefits/Compensation:
- Annual base salary range (US): $168,750–$281,250; annual bonus; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive; health/insurance, retirement, paid holidays/vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
