Director/Associate Director, Thought Leader Engagement β Head & Neck Oncology
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the national thought leader engagement strategy for the pre-launch and potential launch of petosemtamab.
- Build and maintain relationships with national/regional Head & Neck Oncology KOLs, Medical Experts, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor the Head & Neck Oncology landscape and identify clinical, scientific, and market trends impacting petosemtamab adoption.
- Serve as primary Genmab contact for KOLs/MEs/influencers in the Head & Neck Oncology community.
- Plan and execute thought leader engagement at major oncology/scientific congresses and conferences.
- Identify, recruit, train, and evaluate the petosemtamab speaker bureau per policies and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver a KYSO customer experience via a coordinated One Genmab approach across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access.
- Gather/synthesize insights from interactions to inform brand strategy, launch planning, and customer engagement.
- Share field insights with cross-functional stakeholders; build partnerships and align teams.
- Lead initiatives and manage priorities, timelines, agency partners, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with Genmab policies and legal/regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 10+ years relevant pharma/biotech experience (Director) or 8+ years (Associate Director).
- Significant oncology experience in marketing, sales, account management, thought leader engagement, medical affairs, or similar customer-facing role.
- Demonstrated experience engaging senior external stakeholders.
- Ability to translate customer/market insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong oncology commercialization and customer engagement understanding.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority; excellent communication/presentation/relationship-management.
- Knowledge of legal/regulatory/compliance requirements for healthcare professional engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, partners, timelines, and budgets; travel ~50%β60%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA/MS/PharmD/PhD).
- Direct Head & Neck Oncology (e.g., head & neck squamous cell carcinoma) experience.
- Established KOL/ME relationships; prior thought leader engagement/liaison experience.
- Oncology launch/pre-launch, speaker development, advisory board/congress/peer-to-peer program experience.
- Knowledge of treatment pathways, multidisciplinary care teams, referral networks, academic/community settings.
- Experience in high-growth/emerging biotech; for Director: lead national initiatives and mentor.
