Marketing Director, Long-Acting HIV Treatment β U.S. Launch Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead end-to-end U.S. commercialization strategy and launch of ViiVβs next-generation long-acting HIV treatment.
- Serve as the U.S. launch lead; shape long-term brand strategy with HCP, Patient, Digital, Strategy, and Commercial leaders.
- Lead U.S. launch strategy development with Global teams (brand positioning, customer strategy, messaging architecture, value proposition, HCP campaign development).
- Lead agency strategy/partnership to drive creative development, campaign execution, and efficient deployment of marketing investments.
- Drive cross-functional launch readiness across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Communications, Insights & Analytics, and Implementation teams.
- Partner with Field Commercial and Sales Operations to incorporate field insights and optimize customer engagement before/after launch.
- Lead financial planning and investment optimization (resource allocation, forecast recommendations, ROI assessment, performance measurement).
- Develop external engagement strategies using insights from people living with HIV, patient advocates, HCPs, and key opinion leaders.
- Establish launch best practices, capabilities, and frameworks for future portfolio/innovation launches.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 8+ years commercial marketing experience in pharma/biotech, including 3+ years people management.
- Experience leading launch/growth for pharmaceutical brands.
- Proven cross-functional experience with Medical, Regulatory, and Market Access.
- Demonstrated ability to use data/insights for strategic marketing decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent.
- U.S. pharmaceutical commercial environment expertise.
- Experience with implementation models (e.g., specialty pharmacy, buy-and-bill, site-of-care complexity).
- Sales experience; broad commercial experience (market access, strategy, operations).
- Experience in HIV treatment/long-acting therapies in the U.S.
- Use of AI/advanced analytics for commercial decisions.
- Comfortable with hybrid work and regular in-person collaboration.
