Vice President, U.S. Market Access & Pricing

Role: Vice President, Market Access, leading strategy and execution for the commercial launch of Vaxcyte's adult pneumococcal vaccine. Responsibilities: develop and implement market access plans covering pricing, reimbursement, contracting, stakeholder engagement, and channel strategy; shape access policies aligned with immunization guidelines; collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Finance; build and lead a lean market access function; prepare for policy engagements with CDC, ACIP, and state programs; optimize formulary positioning and patient access across channels. Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; 15+ years in biotech/pharma market access, pricing, or reimbursement; experience supporting vaccine launches, especially in infectious diseases or buy-and-bill products; deep understanding of adult vaccine access dynamics, Medicare, Medicaid, CDC contracts, and site-of-care economics; proven ability to build capabilities in lean, pre-commercial environments; strong cross-functional leadership, financial modeling, and stakeholder influence skills.
