Your Impact
- 6-month experiential Talent Acquisition (TA) Co-Op for students working toward an undergraduate or advanced degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics, Psychology, Communications, or related fields.

What You Will Be Doing
- Partner with Early and Emerging Talent and TA Operations to enhance the intern/co-op candidate experience and support scalable recruitment practices.

Rotation-Based Experience
- Early and Emerging Talent Focus:
- Map the end-to-end intern/co-op candidate journey (attraction through onboarding).
- Support campus and early/emerigin talent engagement initiatives (including alumni/community efforts).
- Design and analyze feedback mechanisms to improve candidate/program experience.
- TA Operations Focus:
- Optimize TA tech stack (e.g., Workday enhancements, scheduling automation).
- Pilot AI-enabled recruiting solutions (chatbots, insights tools, automation).
- Support process documentation and standardization for scale/consistency.

Key Projects & Deliverables (examples)
- Design and launch LinkedIn communities for current/former interns, co-ops, and early hires; create engagement strategies beyond program completion.
- Develop priority-school lists using demand planning, market intelligence (e.g., Veris, GTI), and AI-enabled insights; translate data into campus strategy recommendations.
- Produce candidate journey maps identifying key moments, friction points, and improvement opportunities.
- Build dashboards for experience/operational metrics (e.g., candidate NPS, conversion rates, performance/retention) and standardize reporting.
- Pilot AI-enabled candidate experience tools (e.g., scheduling automation, FAQ chatbots) and contribute to a 2026–2027 Generational Workforce Augmentation AI Framework and Playbook.

Learning Outcomes
- Hands-on enterprise TA Operations and Early Talent strategy experience.
- Resume-building deliverables used by Talent Acquisition.
- Exposure to AI, automation, and data-driven recruiting.

What You Will Need To Succeed
- Enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program in HR, Business, Analytics, Psychology, Communications, or related field.
- Strong interest in talent acquisition, people operations, and the future of work.
- Curiosity about technology, data, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Ability to think critically, synthesize insights, and communicate recommendations clearly.
- Preferred: experience with analytics/dashboards/reporting tools; familiarity with LinkedIn/employer branding/community building; comfort experimenting with new tools/platforms/AI.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (Vertex does not sponsor internships/entry-level roles for this part of the organization).
- Must be enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating before Dec 2026.
- Must be available full-time (40 hours/week) July–December 2026.

- Full-time, paid co-op: $20.00–$35.00 USD/hour.
