Vaccine Account Manager - Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities:
- Build partnerships with large healthcare customers (HSs, Public Awardees, FQHCs) and key decision-makers (e.g., Chief Medical Officers, Pharmacy Directors, ID specialists, P&T committee members).
- Identify customer objectives and develop customer-specific/area business plans to achieve Good Selling Outcomes (stakeholder mapping, budget cycles, formulary timelines, business reviews).
- Navigate complex organizations to influence vaccine access/formulary status, policies/protocols, stocking, and pull-through.
- Support public sector decision-makers and represent local needs to Field/HQ leadership.
- Lead key account management via business reviews, contract performance discussions, educational programs, and attendance at customer meetings and medical conferences.
- Achieve customer/territory targets (volume, IZ rates, market share, annual sales) and define objectives/GSOs with KPIs.
- Support contracting with Contracting Specialists; execute consultative selling.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Contracting Specialists, OPAS/HSDs, Medical Affairs, Marketing) and partner with Market Access on coverage/reimbursement challenges.
- Provide evidence-based clinical education and stay current with CDC/medical society/health quality metrics.
- Maintain CRM records; complete required training/certifications; ensure compliant promotional activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years combined experience in pharmaceutical sales/marketing, payer and/or business development; account management and/or vaccines experience.
- Valid driver’s license; travel up to 50%.
- Preferred: Master’s; vaccines sales experience; deep contracting/health systems/IDN experience; C/D-level calling.
- Strong business analytics, communication/presentation, influencing, and ability to translate strategy into account plans.
