Main Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to the US Medical Affairs Next Gen Immunology team, fostering teamwork and attracting/developing/retaining talent.
- Manage Medical Directors overseeing field training and MSL operations.
- Lead direct reports in alignment with core values (Aim Higher, Act for Patients, Be Bold, Lead Together).
- Develop strategy and tactics for an integrated Medical Plan across the neurology pipeline (MSLs, Medical Education, Medical Communications/Publications, Health Outcomes, Safety, Clinical Research Phase IIIB-IV and investigator-sponsored trials).
- Provide cross-portfolio medical strategy and scientific expertise to Clinical, Commercial, Market Access, and Regulatory partners (Global and US).
- Lead medical/scientific advisory boards; translate insights into actionable medical strategy.
- Review and approve promotional and medical materials for compliance with corporate standards and regulations.
- Support execution of US Phase IIIB-IV clinical study programs.
- Review/approve Investigator Sponsored Trial concepts and protocols per SOPs.
- Partner with US Drug Safety on adverse events, post-marketing safety, and safety-signal communications.
- Build and maintain relationships with Key Thought Leaders.
- Leverage AI-enabled evidence generation and LLM-focused education platforms for strategic impact.
Education/Qualifications:
- Advanced degree required (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent).
Experience:
- 7+ years in Medical Affairs including Pre-Launch, Clinical Development, Launch, and Life Cycle Management.
- Cross-portfolio Neurology experience.
- Track record executing US medical strategies.
- People management experience.
- AI tools experience (noted).
