Main Responsibilities:
- Provide inspirational leadership and focus to the US Medical Affairs RBD team to deliver US Medical Affairs priorities; foster teamwork and team engagement by attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
- Lead the US Medical RBD stakeholder engagement strategy.
- Represent US RBD Medical Affairs and Sanofi Specialty Care to external audiences (HCPs, thought leaders, medical associations, and key organizations).
- Develop and maintain KOL relationships across the franchise and broader healthcare community.
- Oversee insights gathering from healthcare stakeholders (e.g., KOLs, payers, competent authorities).
- Lead local data generation to support market access and/or generate leads for product lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with health economics and medical managed care teams to address questions and opportunities.
- Ensure appropriate data dissemination strategy for the US immunology portfolio within broader value propositions.
- Oversee training and education events for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure team compliance with FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other relevant ethical guidelines.
- Ensure review and approval of medical/scientific content across regulatory, safety, scientific affairs, medical affairs, and commercial outputs.
- Lead, plan, and provide medical expertise for US RBD medical programs.
- Assess risks and identify gaps/conflicts; provide guidance and solutions.
- Implement measurable customer/product medical education policies.
- Oversee franchise medical budget and influence key partners/programs to meet US RBD Medical Affairs priorities.
- Collaborate with other therapeutic areas to leverage expertise and programs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) in a scientific discipline.
- 15+ years Medical Affairs experience; 7+ years leading a medical function.
- 10+ years leading high-performing teams with demonstrated talent development.
- Strong ethical/regulatory/legal compliance knowledge.
- Proven record developing/executing medical strategies in key markets.
- Proven ability building/maintaining KOL networks.
- Experience partnering across departments in a global context; able to work in a matrix.
- Extensive safety issue experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hematology advanced training certification.
- Medical Affairs experience in rare hematology.
- Entrepreneurial vision with strong execution.

- Strong planning, project, time, budget, and portfolio allocation.
- Fluent English; excellent written and verbal communication.
