Responsibilities:
- Influence business decisions using analyses to meet/exceed forecast and strategic financial commitments.
- Provide financial leadership to business partners/finance staff; ensure financial processes/systems comply with laws and corporate policies.
- Drive sales and profitability; evaluate programs, pricing, and commercial initiatives.
- Perform sales and profit analytics; lead meetings with selling/marketing leaders; prepare ad hoc materials for senior reviews.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contribution (margin), and sales results; use dashboards/business scorecards; support ROI analysis.
- Partner across functions to develop commercial solutions; liaison with external firms when appropriate.
- Analyze actual performance vs. business plan (pricing, profitability, variances).
- Help Commercial transition from legacy systems to standardized future systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree (Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred).
- 5+ years accounting or related business experience.
- CPA, CMA, and/or MBA preferred.
- People management experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Think strategically/creatively; strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and executive influencing skills.
- Ability to lead a project/team and deliver results through others.
- Commercial sales/marketing support experience preferred.
- Location: Irvine, CA; up to 5% domestic travel.
