Sr Manager, Sales Training - UPLIZNA Neurology (NMOSD & gMG)
What You Will Do
- Lead Learning & Performance strategy and execution for UPLIZNA Neurology (NMOSD & gMG), including New Hire/Onboarding, field learning, semester meetings, advanced training, sales capability initiatives, and ongoing learning aligned to business priorities.
- Enable high-quality, compliant customer engagement across neuroimmunology and neuromuscular care settings.
- Serve as U.S.-based, remote field training leadership reporting to the Director of Learning and Performance; lead a team of two and direct new-hire/onboarding and advanced-training curriculum.
- Partner with Brand on semester-meeting strategy, sustainment planning, and ongoing learning initiatives.
- Additional responsibilities:
- Partner with Brand Leadership to align learning strategies to business priorities and commercial objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated learning strategy and scale best practices.
- Manage, coach, and develop Learning and Performance staff.
- Partner with Sales Leadership and Brand to equip field teams to engage neuroimmunologists, neuromuscular specialists, comprehensive neurology centers, infusion-site stakeholders, and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Travel: ~30% (if not located in Deerfield).
What We Expect Of You
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate + 2 years Sales Training experience; or Master’s + 4; or Bachelor’s + 6; or Associate’s + 10; or High school/GED + 12.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
- Define learning goals/objectives with internal clients; lead teams to timelines and financial targets.
- People leadership: coaching/developing/influencing high-performing sales or cross-functional teams.
- Rare disease/specialty experience (NMOSD, gMG, neuroimmunology/neuromuscular disease) strongly preferred; rare-disease neurology training supporting NMOSD/gMG biologic/infusion therapies and complex patient journeys.
- Experience partnering with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and vendor-management.
- Content development and instructional design (plus).
- Clinical competence in rare-disease neurology; model curricula (disease-state education, diagnostic pathways, treatment access, patient management).
- Translate market/customer insights into compliant, actionable training.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and selling skills.
- Understanding of access/reimbursement, patient-support services, and Veeva.
