Responsibilities
- Support territory managers as part of the Regional Leadership Team by conveying the value/benefits of the Animal Health portfolio.
- Prepare and deliver technical lectures to key customers, strategic accounts, and veterinary organizations.
- Offer solutions aligned with customer needs and business priorities.
- Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute business strategy to meet/exceed regional and organizational priorities.
- Meet key opinion leaders (clinical and university) to discuss the portfolio and identify new opportunities.
- Represent the portfolio at veterinary schools, associations, and conferences.
- Serve as the region’s technical expert; assess technical training needs and coach reps in technical selling.
- Collaborate with R&D, Learning & Development, Marketing, Veterinary Insights & Medical Affairs, and Sales.
Qualifications
- Education: DVM/VMD.
- Required experience: 10 years combined relevant experience—minimum 5 years clinical companion animal practice and minimum 5 years animal health industry or equivalent leadership/management.
- Skills: translate complex issues for audiences; excellent presentation/facilitation and oral/written communication; medical consulting in vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics; influence without authority; strong internal/industry networks; innovative problem-solving; MS Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel); industry software (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva, Power BI); cross-functional team experience; independent execution of Professional Services Veterinarian responsibilities; understand customer business processes and portfolio impact on medical capabilities/profitability.
Preferred
- Companion animal vaccines/parasiticides/therapeutics experience; advanced degrees/research; training delivery in structured organizations; leadership/management experience.
