Role Overview:
Performing in a fast-paced environment, the Treasury Analyst will be a key member of Legend’s Treasury organization. This role provides exposure through cash management, forecasting, reporting, and improvement initiatives. This is a contract role of 9+ months duration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cash forecasts, intercompany funding, and FX position projections
- Review and support liquidity optimization and FX management
- Prepare management reporting (actual performance, cash management targets, quarterly forecasting, monthly CFO reporting, and long-range planning)
- Partner with Treasury leadership to create executive-level presentations with insightful analysis for key stakeholders
- Support opening/closing of bank accounts and bank account mandates
- Administer online banking systems
- Participate in vendor onboarding compliance process
- Administer and support corporate card and travel accounts
- Support internal and external audit reviews, information requests, and process walkthroughs
- Develop and implement methods/strategies to improve processes and enhance controls
- Support month-end close activities as needed
- Perform ad hoc responsibilities and projects as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; major in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Professional certifications/membership: ACT/IACT
- Minimum 3 years of progressive Treasury experience
- Experience in a global environment
- Ability to partner/collaborate with all levels of the organization
- Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and escalate issues appropriately
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Complex modeling, forecasting, and valuation capabilities (tracking key assumptions)
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
- High proficiency with business reporting/analysis tools (Anaplan or OneStream preferred)
- Knowledge of common business/financial drivers and deep-dive analysis
- Experience with continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and project management
- Experience in ERP systems (SAP, etc) strongly preferred
Preferred:
- Professional certification (CFA/CMA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- MBA or advanced degrees
- Prior life sciences industry experience
- Knowledge of SOX financial controls on Accounting and Reporting processes
