Responsibilities:
- Liaison between Takeda and transplant centers in assigned territory; present Takeda transplant products and services to transplant surgeons, organ specialists, Infectious Disease specialists, transplant nurses, pharmacists, financial coordinators, and other transplant team stakeholders.
- Develop and execute territory-specific business plans aligned with corporate goals; support US Business Unit (USBU) products in the assigned territory.
- Achieve/exceed sales targets and Management by Objective (MBO) goals.
- Conduct strategic account planning (needs discovery, stakeholder/influence mapping, identify/prioritize business goals, value proposition development with marketing/managed market teams, tactical planning).
- Secure specialty product access (protocol access and formulary access, if applicable) in accounts.
- Manage accounts across all transplant centers in territory; build confidence and provide ongoing support.
- Build relationships with executive and functional personnel (Operations, Financial, Pharmacy) to position products to ensure supply and support the portfolio.
- Develop relationships with thought leaders and leverage clinical experts to educate/inform therapeutic processes and institutional protocols.
- Identify key stakeholders, needs, and priorities at each center; maintain organization-wide relationships.
- Develop cross-functional business and launch strategies for large/high-volume transplant centers.
- Deliver approved messages covering clinical, financial, outcomes, and operational issues; manage accounts, budgets, and allocated resources.
- Assess infusion economics, inventory management, reimbursement, procurement, deployment strategies, and partnerships; monitor access/reimbursement trends locally/regionally/nationally.
- Use tools to monitor industry/managed care trends; communicate relevant information to impacted stakeholders (e.g., Sales Forces, Leadership, SFE Lead, Marketing, Market Access).
- Work within established protocols to provide updates/status reports to cross-functional teams.
- Educate home office personnel on relevant therapeutic account information and collaborate on territory account issue/trend updates.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (BA/BS) or advanced business/scientific degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, etc.).
- 5 yearsโ€™ direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in pharmaceutical/biotech/device/specialty/healthcare, including:
- Develop and execute business plans aligned with corporate goals.
- Launch business development programs and strategy for execution.
- Advanced skills in negotiation, strategy, presentation, analytics, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Experience within transplant or rare disease (preferred).
- Account-based sales experience (e.g., hospitals, health systems, infusion centers, large group practices) or experience in rare disease developing centers of excellence/comprehensive care teams (preferred).
- Experience with buy & bill selling/account management; understand payer access and reimbursement (preferred).
- Pharmaceutical product launch and calling on transplant-related specialists (preferred).
- Reside within assigned geography.
