Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive, account-specific business plans aligned to national and regional strategies for assigned pharmacy accounts (behavioral health and independent Long-Term Care), focused on access, appropriate utilization, and education.
- Build and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with key stakeholders by understanding customer business models, organizational structure, and decision-making processes.
- Implement approved contracting strategies with Pricing, Contracts, and Trade to optimize account performance and ensure effective access.
- Analyze and monitor account performance (contract performance, product usage, market share trends) and adjust strategies to meet customer needs.
- Identify, map, and engage key decision-makers and influencers; coordinate appropriate internal engagement (e.g., Market Access, Medical, Reimbursement).
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts; proactively identify opportunities and address barriers to access and appropriate utilization.
- Provide actionable insights on market dynamics, competitive activity, customer needs, and emerging trends.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on account strategies and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with leadership on territory performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelorโs Degree in Business, Marketing, or related Scientific Field AND 8+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience engaging pharmacies/organized customers in behavioral health and long-term care. LTC, specialty pharmacies, and/or hub services experience preferred.
- OR Masterโs Degree AND 6+ years of similar experience.
Preferred/Required Skills:
- Account management and strategic relationship development with pharmacy accounts and decision-makers.
- Experience managing complex accounts across a defined geographic region and navigating multi-level stakeholder environments.
- Proven track record achieving/exceeding sales and performance objectives.
- Strong strategic planning and ability to translate insights into actionable account plans.
- Deep understanding of pharmacy operations, distribution channels, reimbursement dynamics, and payer/formulary/market access landscapes.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent written/verbal communication; strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills; experience using CRM and data tools.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Market Access, Medical, and Reimbursement.
Benefits (as stated):
- Annual base salary: $169,000.00โ$231,000.00; annual bonus (target $60,000.00 of earned base salary) and eligibility for equity long-term incentive program.
