About The Role
Responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans for targeted regional pharmacy accounts, including those focused on behavioral health and independent Long-Term Care. Builds and sustains high-value relationships to optimize product access, promote educational initiatives, and support brand growth. Leverages cross-functional resources (including Market Access Marketing, Pricing and Contracting, Reimbursement, and Medical) to deliver customer-centric solutions aligned with company priorities and compliant with company policies and industry regulations.

Your Contributions
- Develops and executes comprehensive, account-specific business plans aligned to national and regional strategies (access, appropriate utilization, education)
- Builds and maintains strategic, long-term relationships with key stakeholders by understanding customer business models and decision-making processes
- Implements approved contracting strategies in collaboration with Pricing, Contracts, and Trade to optimize performance and ensure effective access
- Analyzes and monitors account performance (contract performance, product usage, market share trends) and adjusts strategies to meet customer needs
- Identifies, maps, and engages key decision-makers and influencers; coordinates internal engagement (e.g., Market Access, Medical, Reimbursement)
- Serves as primary point of contact; identifies opportunities and addresses barriers to access and appropriate utilization
- Provides actionable insights on market dynamics, competitive activity, customer needs, and emerging trends
- Collaborates cross-functionally to align on account strategies and execute initiatives
- Communicates regularly with leadership on territory performance, risks, and opportunities
- Ensures disciplined execution with measurable outcomes (e.g., access, utilization, performance)
- Ensures all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

Requirements
- Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related Scientific Field AND 8+ years biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience engaging pharmacies and organized customers in behavioral health and Long-Term Care (experience with LTC, specialty pharmacies, and/or hub services preferred)
OR
- Masterโ€™s Degree AND 6+ years similar experience

Required/Preferred Skills
- Account management and strategic relationship building with pharmacy accounts and key decision-makers
- Experience managing complex accounts across a defined geographic region; navigating multi-level stakeholder environments
- Proven track record achieving/exceeding sales and performance objectives; strategic planning to create actionable account plans
- Ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities
- Deep understanding of pharmacy operations, distribution channels, reimbursement dynamics, and payer/formulary/market access landscapes
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent written/verbal communication; strong presentation and negotiation
- Strong analytics; ability to interpret sales data and account performance metrics; experience with CRM/data tools
- Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Reimbursement)
