About The Role
Responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans for targeted regional pharmacy accounts, including those that focus on behavioral health and independent Long-Term Care. Builds and sustains high-value relationships across targeted pharmacy accounts to optimize product access, promote educational initiatives, and support brand growth. Leverages cross-functional resources (including Market Access Marketing, Pricing and Contracting, Reimbursement, and Medical) to deliver customer-centric solutions aligned with strategic priorities and compliant with company policies and industry regulations.
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to)
- Develop and execute comprehensive, account-specific business plans aligned to national and regional strategies (access, appropriate utilization, education)
- Build and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with key stakeholders by understanding customer business models and decision-making processes
- Implement approved contracting strategies with Pricing, Contracts, and Trade to optimize account performance and ensure effective access
- Analyze and monitor account performance (contract performance, product usage, market share trends) and adjust strategies
- Identify and engage key decision-makers and influencers; coordinate internal stakeholder engagement (e.g., Market Access, Medical, Reimbursement)
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts; proactively identify opportunities and address barriers to access and appropriate utilization
- Provide actionable insights on market dynamics, competitive activity, customer needs, and emerging trends
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on account strategies and execute initiatives
- Communicate regularly with leadership on business performance, risks, and opportunities
- Ensure disciplined execution and measurable outcomes (e.g., access, utilization, performance)
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Requirements
- Bachelorโs Degree in Business, Marketing, or related Scientific Field AND 8+ years sales experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry, with strong experience engaging pharmacies and organized customers in behavioral health and long-term care. Experience with LTC, specialty pharmacies, and/or hub services preferred.
- OR Masterโs Degree AND 6+ years similar experience
Required/Preferred Skills
- Account management & strategic relationships; ability to manage complex accounts across a defined geographic region
- Strategic planning and business development; track record of achieving/exceeding sales and performance objectives
- Pharmacy operations, distribution channels, and reimbursement dynamics; knowledge of payer/formulary/market access
- Pharmaceutical compliance, legal, and regulatory understanding
- Excellent written/verbal communication; strong presentation and negotiation; ability to convey complex clinical/financial/market information
- Analytical skills; experience using CRM systems and data tools; data-driven mindset
- Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Market Access, Medical, and Reimbursement

- Annual bonus target of $60,000 (of earned base salary) and eligibility for equity-based long-term incentive program
- Annual base salary expected range: $169,000โ$231,000 (individual factors apply)
