Main Responsibilities
- Lead, cultivate, and maintain strategic Trade-channel relationships (wholesalers, specialty distributors, specialty pharmacies, retail pharmacies) across the US mainland and Puerto Rico.
- Identify and implement customer quality initiatives; understand customer priorities and future directions for downstream access.
- Partner with mid-/senior customer executives; run business reviews; represent the customer internally; proactively develop solutions.
- Develop, negotiate, and implement innovative contracts; secure favorable distribution/pricing/service terms.
- Track and analyze contracted product performance; monitor compliance/metrics; resolve contract disputes.
- Monitor inventory/product movement; coordinate with supply chain to prevent stockouts; support launches with customer-specific plans; troubleshoot escalations; manage returns.
- Pursue new opportunities; lead cross-functional competitive/market analysis and account plans; present proposals; drive Matrix Team process across brand/market access/sales and collaborate across internal stakeholders.
- Apply wholesale/retail/specialty pharmacy channel expertise to improve patient access; support trade associations and advocacy engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree (BS/BA) required.
- MBA or PharmD preferred.
- 10+ years commercial pharma/vaccines/life sciences OR 5 years trade/channel/operational roles in distribution/retail/specialty pharmacy.
- Experience with wholesaler distributors, specialty distributors, and specialty pharmacies.
- Proven negotiation and channel management expertise.
- 1β3 years managerial/leadership experience preferred.
