Purpose:
Coordinate assigned aspects of an Operations Brand or Program to align it with business goals and strategic imperatives. Serve as central point of contact for stakeholders (Commercial, R&D, S&T, Legal, Tax, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Manufacturing, and TPMs). Provide global Brand/Product analysis, strategy, oversight, LRP/plan demand and inventory management. Ensure contract compliance/accountability with PRMs. Contribute to product strategy and Brand plans for launches, site transfers, security of supply, cost improvements, risk and lifecycle management. Support long-range plans, supply strategies, and capacity management with TPMs. Manage cross-functional programs across plants, TPMs, and functional organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead assigned Operations Brand Program projects with SC Director to ensure timely decisions impacting Brand sales, assurance of supply, and operational performance.
- Strategize with PSM and lead negotiations for new contracts/extensions; negotiate additional service costs, proposals, and charges with TPMs.
- Communicate/escalate issues threatening assurance of supply; develop mitigation plans with cross-functional teams and TPMs.
- Create viable Brand plan, financial plan, LRP, risk management, and lifecycle strategies aligned to business goals.
- Primary interface with Commercial to develop and gain agreement on Brand/Product forecasts.
- Interface with stakeholders to coordinate roles/responsibilities and ensure common vision.
- Optimize operational performance to meet strategic business needs while achieving assurance of supply.
- Manage lifecycle transitions impacting Brand sales.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Science plus life science business/product management; MBA desired but not required.
- 5+ years in Operations, Supply Chain, Management, Product Development, and/or Financial Management.
- Proven experience leading teams and fostering cross-boundary collaboration.
- Collaborative team player; excellent presentation and oral/written communication.
- Ability to handle conflicting priorities; manage/influence large change programs.
