Position Summary:
Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is a field-based role responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with national and regional US key opinion leaders (KOLs) in rare nephrology. Reports to the Director, Thought Leader Liaisons, and supports growth of FILSPARI (sparsentan) for IgAN and FSGS. Collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing, Insights & Analytics, Sales, Patient Advocacy, Compliance, Sales Training, Market Access, and Medical Affairs.
Responsibilities:
- Implement regional cross-functional account strategy and KOL engagement plan with brand team and field partners (MSLs and sales reps).
- Coordinate with marketing to identify KOL partnering opportunities and assist with KOL recruitment.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize KOL sentiments, competitor activity, and market trends; provide regular updates and recommendations.
- Ensure compliant, fair-balanced, effective message delivery in promotional educational channels.
- Enlist appropriate KOLs to support commercial activities with the FILSPARI brand team.
- Identify and vet qualified promotional speakers.
- Support contracting, training, and ongoing education for contracted promotional speakers.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree in Business or Life Sciences (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of related marketing experience in specialty or rare disease marketing.
Skills/Requirements:
- Strong scientific acumen; understanding of specialty clinical medicine.
- Proven leadership and high performance.
- Ability to build/sustain internal partnerships and productive KOL relationships; execute engagement plans.
- Experience in similar pharma role (preferably small molecule).
- Strong collaboration, organization, interpersonal skills, and verbal/written communication.
- Track record managing complex project plans/timelines/budgets.
- Adaptable to changing plans.
- Field-based; must live in region; travel 50β60% domestically.
- Face-to-face/onsite essential; not 100% remote.

Compensation:
- Base pay range: $162,000.00β$211,000.00 (plus incentives).
