Thought Leader Liaison, Rare Disease - West

Responsibilities:
- Build strong KOL relationships and trust to inform marketing strategy and initiatives
- Develop regional KOL strategies by identifying, profiling, and engaging established and rising thought leaders in rare sleep
- Lead regional and national congress execution by organizing executive leadership engagement, determining resource allocation, and deliberately engaging KOL/faculty
- Bring insights from thought leaders and sales teams to the brand team to inform strategy, resource utilization, messaging, and tactical execution
- Identify marketplace trends (including barriers) to guide brand strategy and future opportunities
- Help implement advisory boards (planning, participant identification, moderation)
- Collect KOL beliefs, develop HCP profiles, and gain competitive insights at regional/national congresses
- Help identify, recruit, and manage speakers for the LUMRYZ speaker’s bureau
- Guide speakers to ensure accurate, effective, and compliant product/disease-state presentations
- Coach speakers via direct observation and feedback
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to drive brand strategy and execution across a matrixed commercial team
- Engage with territory business managers to ensure strategic alignment and gain field insights via calls, sales meetings, and occasional field rides

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of professional pharma/medical device experience
- Driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to secure appropriate healthcare provider credentialing for facility access

Preferred Skills/Knowledge:
- 10+ years pharma experience (including rare disease)
- 3+ years in product marketing and/or sales management
- Ability to analyze data sets and develop regional plans
- Strong interpersonal and EQ skills with KOLs/speakers/advisors
- Peer leadership and cross-functional collaboration (sales, sales training, compliance, medical affairs, market insights, market access)
- Ability to lead without authority across functions
- Strong oral and written communication
- Knowledge of legal/regulatory environment for pharmaceutical promotion and partnering with compliance
- Track record of high performance

Travel/Other:
- Field-based; 60%-70% travel (nights/weekends as needed)
- Reside within territory geography

Compensation/Benefits:
- Base salary: $200k–$220k; eligible for annual performance pay bonus
