Thought Leader Liaison – Rare Disease (Uplizna)
What You Will Do
- Execute customer aspects of peer-to-peer strategies; build relationships with speakers, thought leaders, and key influencers in assigned geography.
- Engage compliantly with thought leaders in neuroimmunology and neuromuscular disease; collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Site of Care, and Medical Affairs.
- Create local peer-to-peer strategies; develop KOL engagement plans.
- Capture, synthesize, and share thought leader insights to shape brand strategy and support lifecycle management and competitor entry planning.
- Identify evidence gaps via thought leader discussions and podium observations; disseminate insights to marketing, sales, and market access.
- Coordinate leadership interactions at conferences; pursue programs to position Amgen in the market.
- Support speaker events (speaker selection, training, program review); collaborate on peer-to-peer programs and speaker bureau refinement.
- Contribute to content development via customer insight.
Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate + 2 years marketing/sales OR Master’s + 4 years OR Bachelor’s + 6 years OR Associate’s + 10 years OR High school/GED + 12 years.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
- Required: customer-facing pharma/biotech experience (field sales, product marketing, medical/clinical in related therapeutic area).
- Experience in neurology/neuroimmunology/neuromuscular disease; rare disease/specialty biologics clinical experience strongly preferred.
- Thought leader/KOL leadership; cross-functional success; action planning; leadership/strategic agility; collaborate/lead cross-functional teams; strong organizational/analytic skills; clinical/business acumen.
Travel Requirements
- Willing to travel (including weekends, overnight programs, conferences) and reside within territory boundaries.
