The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL), Multiple Myeloma is a field-based role responsible for executing an external expert engagement strategy that advances brand and franchise objectives. Partners with commercial teams, agencies, legal, compliance, medical, and co-marketing partners to drive business objectives.
Accountabilities include:
- External expert relationship ownership: Own and cultivate relationships with Multiple Myeloma thought leaders/oncology stakeholders.
- Engagement planning and mapping: Develop and maintain expert mapping, segmentation, interaction history, and engagement plans.
- Insight generation: Capture and synthesize expert perspectives into actionable insights for internal partners.
- Congress and advisory execution: Plan and execute regional congress, advisory, consultant, educational, sponsorship, and follow-up activities.
- Education strategy execution: Support speaker readiness, maintain speaker/expert relationships, identify educational gaps, and connect internal resources to external opportunities.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Analytics, field, and home-office partners.
- Compliance and operational discipline: Adhere to SOPs and legal/regulatory/compliance requirements within budgets and governance standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree preferred.
- 2+ years engaging hematology thought leaders in academic/community settings; Multiple Myeloma experience required.
- Established relationships with Multiple Myeloma oncology and nurse thought leaders preferred.
- Experience in insight collection with external experts.
- Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, collaboration, and data discussion skills.
- Track record meeting/exceeding qualitative and/or quantitative goals.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial issues in competitive oncology.
- Launch experience in pharmaceutical marketing/sales preferred.
- Ability to satisfy applicable healthcare representative credentialing requirements; remain eligible/good standing.
- Regular business travel required.
