Main Responsibilities:
- Build brand awareness and intent to treat with endocrinologists (Endos).
- Develop belief in Tzieldโs mechanistic rationale and clinical narrative (MOA, approved indication, efficacy/safety).
- Build in-depth knowledge of key accounts across the territory, including barriers to Tzield use.
- Execute priority account strategy: engage endocrinology and primary care providers; develop and execute growth-oriented account/business plans (e.g., account mapping, influence mapping).
- Identify and engage account champions/KOLs as appropriate.
- Promote early detection of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) and the importance of screening in asymptomatic, undiagnosed populations.
- Support screening awareness and development of the T1D ecosystem; conduct territory-level strategic planning.
- Execute screening strategy to engage PCP/Ped for early detection and screening.
- Educate stakeholders on urgent referrals within the narrow treatment window.
- Educate on at-risk populations, screening/monitoring best practices, and value of early detection (e.g., DKA avoidance).
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional Sanofi teams to support customers.
- Attend local/regional/national meetings as directed.
- Maintain adherence to legal, regulatory, ethical, administrative, and financial duties.
- Achieve and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
Qualifications:
- Required: B.A./B.S.; 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales; ability to use data for territory management; proven success improving educational awareness/provider adoption/customer engagement; experience working in a matrix environment; strong business acumen/solution mindset; strategic planning and execution; robust communication and two-way stakeholder dialogue; high accountability; valid driverโs license; travel up to 80%.
- Preferred: Knoxville TN/Asheville NC/Johnson City TN endocrinology market experience; specialty sales calling on endocrinologists/complex systems; diabetes therapeutic area experience (Type 1/2); infusion and/or buy-and-bill experience; product launch specialty-market experience; oncology sales experience; diabetes medical device experience (e.g., insulin pumps, CGM); established endocrinology practice relationships in territory.
