Position Summary
- The Therapeutic Sales Specialist (TS) promotes Crinetics’ Endocrinology portfolio in an assigned territory to maximize product sales and support business growth.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for a wide geographical area; build relationships with key decision makers.
- Call on physicians and other healthcare professionals (e.g., nurses, NPs, PAs, pharmacists) across multiple subspecialties.
- Target sites such as endocrinology practices, primary care offices, IDNs, academic medical centers, and pharmacies within health systems/hospitals.
- Communicate clear messages in complex clinical situations.
- Manage hybrid engagement (in-person 70%+) using virtual tools to maximize efficiency.
- Use data sources to identify and capitalize on high-ROI opportunities.
- Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goals.
- Track and manage territory information through a CRM.
Education and Experience (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree; at least 8 years of Pharmaceutical/Medical Device/Healthcare sales experience.
- Ability to work independently, manage key accounts, and demonstrate consistent sales goal performance.
- Business acumen; ability to understand and articulate complex clinical information.
- Strong organization, time management, oral/written communication, and interpersonal/virtual engagement skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Experience
- Endocrinology experience; hospital sales experience; knowledge of local/regional health systems.
Travel
- Up to 50%.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Base salary range: $180,000–$200,000; plus discretionary annual target bonus, stock options, ESPP, 401(k) match, health insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and winter company shutdown.
