Therapeutic Specialist, HBV β Houston Medical Center, Beaumont, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans territory
Responsibilities:
- Represent Gilead products/services to a defined customer base; generate/grow sales by consistently achieving/exceeding targets in the assigned geography.
- Establish relationships with healthcare practices; provide disease awareness, clinical updates/education, and track healthcare changes.
- Synthesize complex clinical concepts for diverse audiences; deliver strong presentations and communications.
- Develop and implement a territory business plan; monitor sales progress and create action plans.
- Prepare territory budget plans (customer contacts, unrestricted educational grants, speaker events, external expenditures).
- Partner with Medical Scientists, National Account Managers, Therapeutic Center Specialists, Marketing, and internal teams; may co-promote with outside partners.
- Identify/resolve issues and opportunities; proactively communicate with marketing/sales management.
- Report adverse events to Drug Safety/Public Health as required.
- Complete administrative duties (call activity/customer info reporting, expenses, etc.).
- Model peer compliance and adhere to applicable promotion and legal/regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Basic: 5+ years with BS/BA OR 3+ years with MS/MA.
- Preferred: BA/BS; 4+ years pharma sales and 2+ years specialty pharma; strong selling skills in competitive markets; proven track record meeting/exceeding objectives (specialty markets preferred); prior product launch experience.

Compensation/benefits:
- Salary range: $115,260.00β$149,160.00; may include discretionary annual bonus and stock-based long-term incentives; paid time off; company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
