Therapeutic Sales Specialist (field-based covering Dallas, East Texas, Shreveport)
Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed sales goals in assigned territory using an integrated territory business plan.
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise for Acoramidis; lead customer discussions using approved materials.
- Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas of concern.
- Own territory business planning and execution of key company initiatives.
- Partner with Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement, Patient Access, HUB, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction.
- Develop/nurture relationships with targeted KOLs and hospital personnel.
- Navigate hospital formulary process; ensure product positioning and availability.
- Anticipate challenges, adjust priorities, and develop solutions; maintain high proficiency in selling, clinical/market/product knowledge.
- Coordinate with peers to achieve corporate objectives; plan/organize schedule efficiently.
- Represent company with integrity; complete Sales Leadership assignments; ensure activities follow applicable regulations/compliance/Pharma guidelines.
Qualifications & Required/Preferred Skills:
- BS/BA required; MBA preferred but not required.
- 8+ years pharmaceutical industry experience; 5+ years Rare Disease/Cardiology/Specialty/ATTR.
- Product/indication launch experience in competitive markets.
- Strong leadership, planning/organization, analytics, business acumen, decision-making, problem-solving; ability to prioritize and execute.
- Ability to influence without authority; excellent written/oral communication; strong remote-technology skills.
- Adherence to high ethical standards; significant travel required.
