Position Summary
- Deliver strong, sustainable business performance and meaningful patient impact across an assigned territory for rare cholestatic liver diseases.
- Build clinically credible, insight-led relationships with healthcare professionals and execute customized account plans that advance disease awareness, patient identification, treatment consideration/initiation, and persistence.

Responsibilities
Territory Strategy & Performance
- Develop and execute a territory business plan; use performance data, customer insights, market intelligence, access dynamics, and competitive trends to adjust strategy.
- Maintain accurate records, forecasts, expense reporting, and required administrative documentation.

Strategic Account Management & Network Development
- Identify and develop high-opportunity accounts, health systems, centers of excellence, and referral networks (pediatric and adult hepatology/gastroenterology).
- Create customized account plans and map stakeholder influence; coordinate compliant actions with field partners.

Clinical Aptitude & Customer Engagement
- Maintain deep knowledge of disease state, diagnostics, mechanisms of action, approved uses, safety, patient support, access/reimbursement, and competitive landscape.
- Communicate complex clinical/scientific information credibly and tailor discussions to each HCP/account; execute approved promotional programs in line with policies and regulations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years progressive pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience; track record in rare disease/orphan/high-science specialty.
- Rare disease experience highly preferred; hepatology/gastroenterology/pediatric specialty desirable.
- Strong clinical aptitude; account-based selling across health systems/teams/referral networks.
- Knowledge of access and reimbursement/patient support pathways.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal/emotional intelligence.
- Ability to travel up to 70% with frequent overnight travel and occasional weekend commitments.
