Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines within a defined territory/region for appropriate patients by delivering a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Serve as primary point of contact for regional thought leaders and HCPs; liaise with other BMS functions to ensure safe, appropriate use of BMS products and timely, scientific responses.
- Field-based role: spend 100% of time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
- Create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain and grow scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory/account plans.
- Use tools such as CE^3 for insights and dynamic call planning; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Conduct label-consistent scientific dialogue, presentations, and manage speaker programs.
- Use Medical on Call for reactive responses to questions and technical inquiries.
- Proactively collaborate with other field teams; comply with laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required/Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharma/biotech experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately; proven account management/selling with track record meeting/exceeding goals.
- Demonstrated credibility-building with customers; cross-functional effectiveness.
- Oncology experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, scientific agility, technological/digital communication, and presentation skills.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- US field salary: $144,500β$175,100 (plus possible incentive cash/stock).
