Position Summary
- Deliver strong, sustainable business performance and meaningful patient impact across an assigned territory by developing deep clinical and account expertise in rare cholestatic liver diseases.
- Identify and prioritize high-opportunity customers, accounts, and referral networks, and execute customized account plans to advance disease awareness, patient identification, treatment consideration, initiation, and persistence in line with approved indications and promotional practices.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a focused territory business plan aligned with national/zone/regional priorities; set objectives, customer priorities, resource allocation, and measures of success.
- Use performance data, customer insights, market intelligence, access dynamics, and competitive trends to identify opportunities, anticipate barriers, and adjust strategy.
- Deliver objectives through disciplined prioritization, high-quality customer engagement, effective resource stewardship, and accountability for behaviors and results.
- Maintain accurate customer records, forecasts, expense reporting, required administrative documentation, and business updates.
- Identify and develop high-opportunity accounts, health systems, centers of excellence, and referral networks across pediatric/adult hepatology and gastroenterology.
- Create and execute customized account plans based on local patient journey, stakeholders, decision-making, referral patterns, access considerations, and competitive realities.
- Build trusted relationships with care team members; map influence/decision-making and secure appropriate next steps.
- Execute clinically accurate, approved promotional programs and engagements in full adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate complex scientific/clinical information clearly and credibly; engage HCPs as a peer through insightful questions and active listening.
- Help customers address gaps in awareness, identification, referral, treatment consideration, and ongoing support.
- Keep patients/caregivers central to decisions; collaborate compliantly with Market Access and Patient Services.
- Capture and share actionable field insights; partner cross-functionally across Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Marketing, Commercial Training & Effectiveness, Operations, Analytics, and Advocacy.

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years progressive pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
- Track record delivering results in complex specialty/rare disease/orphan/high-science markets.
- Rare disease experience highly preferred; hepatology/gastroenterology/pediatric specialty desirable.
- Strong clinical aptitude; ability to learn and communicate complex disease-state, diagnostic, mechanism-of-action, clinical data, and product information.
- Account-based selling experience across health systems, centers of excellence, multidisciplinary teams, referral networks, and influential HCPs.
- Ability to use insight-led/challenger selling to influence decision-making.
- Working knowledge of access/reimbursement dynamics and patient support pathways.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into territory/account strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence; high credibility communication.
- Self-motivated, resilient, organized; ability to prioritize and work independently in ambiguity.
- Demonstrated cross-functional partnership success.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, compliance, and approved promotional practices.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; travel up to 70% (frequent overnight; occasional weekend).
