Position Summary
- Serve as a Therapeutic Account Manager (TAM) delivering strong, sustainable territory business performance and patient impact for rare cholestatic liver diseases.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory business plan; use data/insights/access dynamics/competitive trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategy.
- Meet territory objectives through disciplined prioritization, customer engagement, resource stewardship, and accountability.
- Maintain accurate customer records, forecasts, expense reporting, and required administrative documentation.
- Identify and prioritize high-opportunity accounts, health systems, centers of excellence, and referral networks (pediatric/adult hepatology & gastroenterology).
- Create and execute customized account plans aligned to the local patient journey, stakeholders, referral patterns, access needs, and competitive realities.
- Build trusted relationships across care teams; map influence in complex accounts and secure next steps.
- Maintain compliant account execution and coordinate actions across field partners.
- Develop deep clinical/product knowledge and communicate scientific/clinical information credibly.
- Engage HCPs as a clinically credible peer; ask questions, uncover unmet needs, and connect evidence/resources.
- Execute approved promotional programs in adherence with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Use insight and influence to help address gaps in awareness, identification, referral, treatment consideration, and persistence.
- Keep patients/caregivers central; collaborate with Market Access and Patient Services; identify/escalate barriers.
- Partner cross-functionally (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Marketing, etc.) and share actionable field insights.
- Demonstrate ownership, resilience, curiosity, continuous learning, and high ethical/compliance standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years progressive pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
- Track record in complex specialty/rare disease/orphan/high-science markets.
- Rare disease experience strongly preferred; hepatology/gastroenterology/pediatric specialty desirable.
- Strong clinical aptitude; ability to learn/communicate complex scientific information.
- Account-based selling experience across health systems/COEs/multidisciplinary teams/referral networks.
- Insight-led/challenger-style selling ability.
- Working knowledge of access/reimbursement and patient support pathways.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into strategy/execution.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Proven self-motivation, resilience, organization; ability to prioritize independently.
- Cross-functional partnership experience (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, etc.).
- Commitment to ethical conduct and approved promotional practices.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; travel up to 70% (frequent overnight; occasional weekends).
