Position Summary
- Therapeutic Account Manager (TAM) responsible for strong business performance and patient impact across an assigned territory.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory business plans aligned to national/zone/regional priorities; use performance data and competitive/access intelligence to adjust strategy.
- Deliver objectives through disciplined prioritization, high-quality customer engagement, accurate forecasting/records/expense/admin documentation.
- Identify and develop high-opportunity accounts, health systems, centers of excellence, and referral networks (pediatric/adult hepatology & gastroenterology).
- Create and execute customized account plans reflecting local patient journeys, stakeholders, clinical decision-making, referral patterns, access needs, and competition.
- Build trusted relationships with physicians, APPs, nurses, pharmacists, and care-team staff; map influence and secure appropriate next steps.
- Develop deep expertise in rare cholestatic liver disease (diagnostics, MOA, clinical data, approved uses, safety, patient support, access/reimbursement).
- Communicate complex clinical/scientific information credibly; engage HCPs as a clinically credible peer; execute approved promotional activities in compliance with policies/regulations.
- Influence stakeholders without authority; address gaps in awareness, identification, referral, treatment consideration, and ongoing support.
- Keep patients/caregivers central; collaborate with Market Access and Patient Services to navigate barriers; identify/elevate access/patient-support issues.
- Partner cross-functionally (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Marketing, training/effectiveness, Operations, Analytics, Advocacy) and share field insights.

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years progressive pharmaceutical/biotech sales; consistent results in complex specialty/rare/orphan/high-science markets.
- Rare disease experience highly preferred; hepatology/gastroenterology/pediatric specialty desirable.
- Strong clinical aptitude; ability to learn and communicate complex medical/product information.
- Experience with account-based selling across health systems/COEs/multidisciplinary teams/referral networks.
- Challenger-style, insight-led selling experience.
- Knowledge of access/reimbursement and patient support services.
- Strong business acumen; exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Self-motivated, resilient, organized; ability to prioritize and work independently.
- Cross-functional partnership experience (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Marketing, training/effectiveness, Operations, Analytics).
- Commitment to ethical conduct and approved promotional practices.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; travel up to 70% (frequent overnight; occasional weekends).
