Position Summary
The Therapeutic Account Manager (TAM) drives strong, sustainable business performance and meaningful patient impact in an assigned territory by developing clinical/account expertise in rare cholestatic liver diseases and executing customized account plans aligned to approved indications and promotional practices.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory business plan; use performance data, customer insights, market intelligence, access dynamics, and competitive trends to identify opportunities and adjust execution.
- Manage customer records, forecasts, expenses, and required administrative documentation.
- Identify and develop high-opportunity accounts, health systems, centers of excellence, and referral networks across pediatric/adult hepatology and gastroenterology.
- Create customized account plans based on patient journey, stakeholders, clinical decision-making, referral patterns, access considerations, and competitive realities.
- Build trusted relationships across the care team; map influence/decision-making and secure appropriate next steps.
- Maintain deep knowledge of disease state, diagnostics, mechanisms of action, clinical data, product profile/approved uses, safety, patient support, and access/reimbursement.
- Communicate complex scientific/clinical information credibly; engage HCPs as a peer to uncover unmet needs and address clinical inertia.
- Execute approved promotional programs in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with Market Access and Patient Services; identify and elevate recurring access/patient-support barriers.
- Partner cross-functionally (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Marketing, Analytics, etc.) and share actionable field insights.

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years progressive pharma/biotech sales in complex specialty/rare/orphan/high-science markets.
- Strong clinical aptitude; ability to learn/communicate complex disease and product information.
- Account-based selling experience across health systems/centers of excellence/multidisciplinary teams/referral networks.
- Insight-led/challenger selling; knowledge of access/reimbursement and patient support pathways.
- Strong business acumen, interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and ability to work independently.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; travel up to 70%.
