Position Summary
- The Therapeutic Account Manager (TAM) delivers strong, sustainable business performance and meaningful patient impact across an assigned territory by building rare cholestatic liver disease and Mirum Liver portfolio expertise and executing customized account plans.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a focused territory business plan with clear objectives, customer priorities, resource allocation, and success measures.
- Use performance data, customer insights, market intelligence, access dynamics, and competitive trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategy.
- Maintain accurate customer records, forecasts, expense reporting, administrative documentation, and business updates.
- Identify, prioritize, and develop high-opportunity accounts, health systems, centers of excellence, and referral networks (pediatric/adult hepatology and gastroenterology).
- Create customized account plans aligned to the local patient journey, stakeholders, decision-making, referral patterns, access needs, and competitive realities.
- Build trusted relationships across the care team; map influence and secure appropriate next steps.
- Engage healthcare professionals as a clinically credible peer; ask insightful questions, uncover needs, and connect relevant evidence/resources.
- Communicate complex scientific/clinical information clearly and credibly, tailored to each account.
- Execute approved promotional programs and engagements in full adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support patient/caregiver-centered decisions; collaborate with Market Access and Patient Services to navigate barriers.
- Identify and elevate recurring access/patient-support barriers; partner with internal teams to improve execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Marketing, training/effectiveness, Operations, Analytics, Advocacy) and share actionable field insights.
- Operate with ownership, resilience, continuous learning, and ethical, compliant conduct.

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years progressive pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
- Track record in complex specialty/rare disease/orphan drug/high-science markets.
- Rare disease experience highly preferred; hepatology/gastroenterology/pediatric specialty desirable.
- Strong clinical aptitude; ability to learn/communicate complex disease and product information.
- Account-based selling experience across health systems, centers of excellence, multidisciplinary teams, referral networks.
- Ability to use insight-led/challenger-style selling.
- Working knowledge of access/reimbursement and patient support pathways.
- Strong business acumen and data interpretation skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Proven cross-functional partnership success.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; travel up to 70% (frequent overnight; occasional weekends).
