Position Summary
- Deliver strong, sustainable business performance and meaningful patient impact across an assigned territory in rare cholestatic liver diseases.
- Develop deep clinical/account expertise; prioritize high-opportunity customers, accounts, and referral networks; execute customized account plans to drive awareness, appropriate patient identification, treatment consideration/initiation/persistence per approved uses.

Responsibilities
Territory Strategy & Business Performance
- Develop/execute a territory business plan aligned to priorities; use data, insights, market intelligence, access dynamics, and competitive trends to adjust strategy.
- Meet objectives through disciplined prioritization, high-quality engagement, resource stewardship; maintain accurate records, forecasts, expenses, and required documentation.

Strategic Account Management & Network Development
- Identify/develop high-opportunity accounts, health systems, centers of excellence, and referral networks across pediatric/adult hepatology & gastroenterology.
- Create customized account plans; build trusted relationships; map influence/decision-making and secure appropriate next steps; coordinate compliant actions.

Clinical Aptitude & Customer Engagement
- Maintain deep knowledge of disease, diagnostics, mechanisms, data, product profiles/uses, safety, patient support, access/reimbursement.
- Communicate credibly and tailor discussions; engage clinicians as a clinically credible peer; execute approved promotional programs per policies/regulations.

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years progressive pharma/biotech sales; track record in complex specialty/rare disease/orphan/high-science markets.
- Rare disease experience highly preferred; hepatology/gastroenterology/pediatric specialty desirable.
- Strong clinical aptitude; insight-led/challenger-style selling; knowledge of access/reimbursement and patient support.
- Account-based selling experience across health systems, COEs, multidisciplinary teams, referral networks.
- Strong business acumen, interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and cross-functional partnership.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; travel up to 70% (frequent overnight, occasional weekends).
