Therapeutic Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for delivering strong, sustainable business performance and meaningful patient impact across an assigned territory.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a focused territory business plan aligned with national/zone/regional priorities; use performance data, customer insights, market intelligence, access dynamics, and competitive trends to identify opportunities and adjust execution.
- Deliver objectives through prioritized, high-quality customer engagement; maintain accurate customer records, forecasts, expense reporting, and required administrative documentation.
- Identify, prioritize, and develop high-opportunity accounts, health systems, centers of excellence, and referral networks across pediatric/adult hepatology and gastroenterology.
- Create and execute customized account plans to advance disease awareness, patient identification, treatment consideration, initiation, and persistence in line with approved indications/promotional practices.
- Build trusted relationships across the care team; map influence/decision-making in complex accounts and secure appropriate next steps.
- Develop deep knowledge of rare cholestatic liver disease and Mirum’s Liver portfolio; communicate complex scientific/clinical information clearly and credibly.
- Engage HCPs as a clinically credible peer; execute approved promotional programs with policy/regulatory adherence.
- Keep patients/caregivers centered; collaborate with Market Access and Patient Services to navigate access barriers; identify and elevate recurring barriers.
- Partner cross-functionally (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Marketing, Analytics, etc.) and share field insights; contribute to reviews, training, and initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years progressive pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
- Track record delivering results in specialty/rare disease/orphan/high-science markets; rare disease experience preferred.
- Strong clinical aptitude; ability to learn/communicate complex disease-state and product information.
- Experience with account-based selling across health systems/COEs/multidisciplinary teams/referral networks.
- Insight-led/challenger-style selling; working knowledge of access/reimbursement and patient support pathways.
- Strong business acumen, interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and ability to work independently.
- Commitment to ethical conduct and approved promotional practices.
- Valid driver’s license; travel up to 70%.
