Position Summary:
- Therapeutic Account Manager (TAM) delivers sustainable business performance and patient impact across an assigned territory by developing rare cholestatic liver disease and Mirum Liver portfolio expertise, prioritizing high-opportunity customers/accounts/referral networks, and executing customized account plans aligned with approved indications and promotional practices.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a focused territory business plan; use performance data, customer insights, market intelligence, access dynamics, and competitive trends to adjust strategy; deliver objectives via disciplined prioritization and high-quality engagement.
- Maintain accurate customer records, forecasts, expense reporting, and required documentation.
- Identify and develop high-opportunity accounts, health systems, centers of excellence, and referral networks (pediatric/adult hepatology/gastroenterology).
- Create and execute customized account plans; build trusted relationships across the care team; map influence/decision-making and secure next steps.
- Demonstrate clinical aptitude: maintain deep knowledge of disease/diagnostics/clinical data/product profile/safety/patient support/access/reimbursement.
- Communicate complex clinical information credibly; engage HCPs as a clinically credible peer; execute approved promotional programs in compliance with company/regulatory requirements.
- Influence multiple stakeholders without authority; elevate access/patient-support barriers with internal partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Marketing, Training/Effectiveness, Operations, Analytics, Advocacy) and share actionable field insights.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years progressive pharma/biotech sales; track record in complex specialty/rare disease/orphan/high-science markets.
- Rare disease experience highly preferred; hepatology/gastroenterology/pediatric specialty desired.
- Strong clinical aptitude and insight/challenger-style selling.
- Experience with account-based selling (health systems, COEs, multidisciplinary care teams, referral networks).
- Knowledge of access/reimbursement and patient support services.
- Strong business acumen, interpersonal skills, judgment, and ability to travel up to 70% (valid driverโ€™s license).
