Position Summary
- Deliver strong, sustainable business performance and meaningful patient impact across an assigned territory.
- Develop deep clinical and account expertise in rare cholestatic liver diseases and execute customized account plans to advance disease awareness, patient identification, treatment consideration/initiation, and persistence.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory business plans aligned to national/zone/regional priorities; use performance data, customer insights, access dynamics, and competitive trends to adjust strategy.
- Maintain accurate customer records, forecasts, expenses, and required administrative documentation.
- Identify and develop high-opportunity accounts, health systems, centers of excellence, and referral networks across pediatric and adult hepatology/gastroenterology.
- Create and execute customized account plans based on local patient journey, stakeholders, referral patterns, access considerations, and competitive realities.
- Build trusted relationships across the care team; map influence/decision-making and secure next steps.
- Maintain compliance in promotional programs, resources, and customer engagements.
- Communicate complex scientific/clinical information credibly and clearly; act as a clinically credible peer through insightful questioning and evidence-based resource connections.
- Collaborate with Market Access and Patient Services; identify and elevate recurring barriers.
- Partner cross-functionally (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Marketing, Training/Effectiveness, Operations, Analytics, Advocacy) and share actionable field insights.

Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
- Bachelorโ€™s required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years progressive pharma/biotech sales; proven results in complex specialty/rare/orphan/high-science markets.
- Rare disease experience highly preferred; hepatology/gastroenterology/pediatric specialty desirable.
- Strong clinical aptitude; insight-led/challenger-style selling; account-based selling experience.
- Working knowledge of access/reimbursement and patient support pathways.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; travel up to 70%.
