Territory Sales Representative (TSR) responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales objectives in assigned geography in accordance with applicable company and regulatory standards.
- Understand and identify customer needs; align appropriate resources and pull-through activities.
- Build advanced product and disease-state knowledge for in-depth engagement with healthcare professionals.
- Promote company products to Gastroenterologists, Advanced Practice Practitioners (APPs), and select Primary Care Physicians to achieve sales goals.
- Develop and execute territory business plans with the Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists (SAS).
- Work with peers, marketing, training, and sales operations to drive execution and share best practices.
- Handle administrative responsibilities, including effective CRM use and expense reporting.
Accountabilities (core):
- Drive sales performance to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree from an accredited college or university.
- 2+ years of successful medical sales experience (or 1 year pharmaceutical sales experience); GI specialty experience preferred.
- Proven, consistent track record of sales success.
- Experience launching new products.
- Demonstrated business acumen and analytical expertise.
- Strong relationship-building with office staff and customer network.
- Proven success in live and virtual interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong technical skills; Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and digital platforms (e.g., Veeva Engage, Teams, Zoom).
- Valid driverโs license and safe driving record.
- Some overnight travel and travel to national/regional/corporate offices may be required.
