Accountabilities
- Meet and exceed sales objectives in assigned geography while complying with company/regulatory standards.
- Understand and identify customer needs; align resources and pull-through activities.
- Use advanced product and disease-state knowledge to engage Gastroenterologists, Primary Care Physicians, APPs, and office staff with clinically focused messages (introducing new treatment and overcoming concerns).
- Track territory market dynamics and market access opportunities to accelerate pull-through.
- Partner with Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists to develop territory business plans.
- Coordinate with peers, marketing, training, and sales operations to drive execution and share best practices.
- Complete administrative requirements, including CRM use and expense reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree.
- 2+ years medical sales experience (or 1+ year pharmaceutical sales); GI specialty experience preferred.
- Proven, consistent sales success; experience launching new products.
- Business acumen/analytical skills; ability to build customer relationships.
- Success in live and virtual interactions.
- Fast-paced environment capability.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office; Veeva Engage, Teams, Zoom, etc.).
- Valid driverโs license; safe driving record.
- Some overnight and occasional national/regional/corporate travel.
