Territory Sales Representative (TSR) responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales objectives in assigned geography in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Understand and identify customer needs; align appropriate resources and pull-through activities.
- Build advanced product and disease-state knowledge for in-depth engagement with healthcare professionals.
- Promote the company’s product calling on Gastroenterologists, Advanced Practice Practitioners (APPs), and select Primary Care Physicians in assigned territory to achieve sales goals.
- Develop territory business plans with Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists (SAS) to achieve sales goals.
- Work with peers, marketing, training, and sales operations to drive execution and share best practices.
- Manage administrative responsibilities including effective CRM use and expense reporting.

Accountabilities:
- Drives sales performance to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded.
- Maintains expertise to deliver clinically focused messages, introduce new treatment options, and address customer concerns.
- Understands territory market dynamics and market access opportunities to accelerate pull-through.

Qualifications/requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 2+ years of successful medical sales experience (e.g., dental, medical device, laboratory, diagnostics) or 1 year pharmaceutical sales experience; GI specialty experience preferred.
- Proven, consistent sales success; experience launching new products.
- Demonstrated business acumen and analytical expertise.
- Builds professional relationships with office staff and customer network.
- Success in live and virtual interactions; fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical skills; Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and digital platforms (e.g., Veeva Engage, Teams, Zoom).
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Some overnight travel and travel to national/regional/corporate offices as required.
