Senior Territory Representative (Springfield, MA)
Essential Accountabilities:
- Work assigned territory to identify veterinary clinic, shelter facility, and corporate account needs; sell Animal Health (AH) Companion Animal portfolio and support customer pull-through activities.
- Build customer strategies; develop territory and key account plans to drive sales growth and account occupancy.
- Serve as primary contact for assigned customers; meet decision makers to identify business opportunities.
- Partner with National Account Managers, Corporate Account Team, and Distribution Field Partners; collaborate across species teams.
- Analyze monthly sales results; manage expenses within budget.
- Select programs/services to provide customer education and training; work with leadership and Field Professional Services to deliver offerings.
- Maintain knowledge of AH products, industry trends, and competitors; communicate trends internally.
- Develop and meet learning and development objectives with leadership.
Required Education:
- High school diploma + 10+ years sales experience OR Bachelor’s degree + 5+ years sales experience.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal/communication/presentation skills; results-driven.
- Ability to collaborate and adapt processes to customer needs.
- Independently understand evolving customer needs; manage multiple accounts through sales process.
- Proficient Word/Excel/PowerPoint; iPad use.
- Ability to work independently and in a team; travel overnight and some weekends.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Animal health industry or sales experience; knowledge of animal health biological/pharmaceuticals; distribution experience.
- Multilingual fluency, especially Spanish.
Benefits/Pay (as stated):
- Salary range: $96,200.00–$151,400.00; eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive (if applicable).
