The Territory Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a business/sales plan to maximize net sales and for conducting business with key targeted healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed goals.
- Create pre-call objectives; execute post-call evaluation to improve performance; handle objections and drive logical, reasonable calls to action to close.
- Serve customer needs and build trusted relationships; achieve win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute a call plan meeting call metrics and optimizing coverage/frequency to maximize access and sales opportunities.
- Understand customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease, and product/clinical/sales expertise; share insights to align strategy and optimize brand execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs Degree required.
- 2β3 years successful B2B sales or pharmaceutical sales (or equivalent education/experience) preferred.
- Psychiatry sales experience a plus.
- Resides in or within proximity to assigned geography required.
- Valid driverβs license with good driving history; able to drive long periods daily.
- Travel up to 25% overnight may be required.
- Ability to lift sample boxes up to 25 lbs; accommodations may be provided.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Starting base pay range: $90Kβ$110K; eligible for annual bonus or sales incentive plan.
