Responsibilities:
- Cover the Toms River, NJ territory (Toms River, Freehold, Asbury Park, Red Bank, Brunswick, and Eatontown, NJ).
- Meet and exceed corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with targeted ECP accounts and represent Viatris in the Eye Care community.
- Use disease-state knowledge, marketplace, and industry/business trends to manage and pull through business opportunities.
- Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused, patient-centric messages and appropriate disease-state information to ECP accounts.
- Achieve quarterly and annual business goals while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Provide customer insights and feedback on strategic initiatives to the field leadership team and internal partners.
- Use territory business planning tools to uncover additional business opportunities.
- Manage and utilize approved resources to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies; demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical, medical, or related sales experience with a proven record in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology (combination of experience and/or education considered).
- Live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Travel required; overnight travel may be needed depending on territory.
- Eye care experience preferred (not required).
- Must meet access requirements for target offices and healthcare facilities within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English (required).
Compensation:
- Salary range: Professional $100,000–$150,000 USD; Senior $108,000–$162,000 USD (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
