Role Summary
Territory Manager, Eye Care – Toms River, NJ. The role focuses on meeting and exceeding sales objectives within the Toms River, Edison, New Brunswick, and Trenton territory by developing strong partnerships with targeted Eye Care professional accounts, delivering disease-state education, and driving pull-through opportunities in compliance with all policies.
Responsibilities
- The Toms River, NJ territory includes Toms River, NJ; Edison, NJ; New Brunswick, NJ; and Trenton, NJ.
- Meets and exceeds corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develops and maintains strong working partnerships with targeted ECP accounts, and fully represents the vision & culture of Viatris to the Eye Care community.
- Appropriately leverages disease state knowledge, marketplace insights, and industry trends to manage and pull-through business opportunities.
- Delivers MLR-approved, education-focused and patient-centric messages, as well as disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieves quarterly and annual business goals while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Works collaboratively with internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Provides customer insights and feedback on strategic initiatives to field leadership and internal teams.
- Demonstrates company culture norms through interactions and cross-organizational collaboration.
- Utilizes territory planning tools to uncover additional business opportunities and maximizes pull-through on growth opportunities.
- Manages approved resources effectively to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
- Complies with all legal, regulatory, and compliance policies with integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent). Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical, medical or related sales experience preferred; combination of experience and/or education will be considered.
- Must live within geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Must have valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel required; overnight travel may be needed depending on territory.
- Eye care experience preferred, but not required.
- Must meet all access requirements for target offices and health care facilities within assigned territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
