Territory Manager, Eye Care – Syracuse, NY
Responsibilities
- Cover the Syracuse, NY territory (Syracuse, Utica, Watertown, Rochester, and Buffalo, NY).
- Meet and exceed corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with targeted ECP accounts; represent the vision and culture of Viatris to the Eye Care community.
- Leverage disease-state knowledge, marketplace, and industry/business trends to manage and drive pull-through of business opportunities.
- Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused, patient-centric messages and appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieve quarterly and annual business goals while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal partners to provide a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Provide customer insights and feedback on strategic initiatives with field leadership and internal partners.
- Use territory business planning tools to identify additional business opportunities.
- Manage and utilize approved resources to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies; demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience with proven technical knowledge, selling techniques, and understanding of medical terminology (experience and/or education combination considered).
- Live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel; overnight travel may be required.
- Eye care experience preferred (not required).
- Meet access requirements for target offices and healthcare facilities in assigned territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.
Compensation
- Salary range: $98,000.00 - $147,941.00 USD (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
