Key responsibilities for this role include:
- The Shreveport, LA territory includes Jackson, MS; Monroe, LA; Shreveport, LA; El Dorado, AR; and Texarkana, AR.
- Meets and exceeds corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develops and maintains strong working partnerships with targeted ECP accounts and represents the vision/culture to the Eye Care community.
- Leverages disease state knowledge, the marketplace, and industry/business trends to manage and pull-through business opportunities.
- Delivers MLR approved, education-focused, patient-centric messages and appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieves business goals on a quarterly and annual basis; drives territory performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborates with internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Provides customer insights and feedback to internal partners/field leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Uses territory business planning tools to uncover additional business opportunities.
- Manages and utilizes approved resources to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
- Complies with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies; maintains integrity and professionalism.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience with demonstrated technical knowledge, selling techniques, and understanding of medical terminology (combination of experience/education considered).
- Must live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Travel required; overnight travel may be needed.
- Eye care experience preferred (not required).
- Must meet access requirements for target offices and health care facilities in the assigned territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English required.
Compensation (salary range): $100,000–$150,000 for Territory Manager; $108,000–$162,000 for Senior Territory Manager.
