Territory Manager, Eye Care – Scranton, PA
Responsibilities:
- Cover the Scranton, PA territory including Allentown, Wilkes-Barre, and Scranton, PA.
- Meet and exceed corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with targeted ECP accounts; represent vision and culture to the Eye Care community.
- Use disease-state knowledge, marketplace, and industry/business trends to manage and pull through business opportunities.
- Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused, patient-centric messages and appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieve quarterly and annual business goals while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Provide customer insights and feedback to field leadership and internal partners on strategic initiatives.
- Use territory business planning tools to identify additional business opportunities.
- Manage and utilize approved resources to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
- Comply with all legal, regulatory, and compliance policies with integrity and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience with proven success in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology (a combination of experience and/or education considered).
- Live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel as required (overnight travel may be needed).
- Eye care experience preferred (not required).
- Must meet all access requirements for target offices and healthcare facilities within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.
Compensation (as stated):
- Professional: $100,000–$150,000 USD; Senior: $108,000–$162,000 USD.
